We currently have six beta accounts for Battlefield Bad Company 2 here at Section 9, so drop by and give the game a try while you still can before March. We've also scheduled another Brawl tournament which will be our first and only tournament for the month of February. Since we've had poor attendance in the past we've decided to hold out any new game tournaments until we have worked out proper advertising to maximize our event attendance. We're also rethinking our rates and prizes for future tournaments so if you have input don't be afraid to share.

I've also overhauled the sign-up system for event registration which is now much simpler and should now be error free.

The Brawl tournament went great even with the weather, so once again, thanks to everyone who showed up and made it possible. I'll be scheduling a new set of tournaments along with another Brawl tournament soon so take this opportunity to voice your opinion before it's too late.

We would also like to get some feedback on the idea of a higher stake tournament in the future with a higher entry fee which results in a larger cash prize for winners of singles. We would also do a legitimate doubles bracket with cash prizes as well. If you support this idea or even if you don't drop by the forums and give us some information. Would this event scare people away since they have already faced the competition? Would you pay a separate entry fee for a double bracket or would you rather it stay as more of a fun warm-up?
